Actual Plays

Every now and then I document my gameplay for a scenario or even a full campaign with a series of Actual Play articles. Those basically work like a Live Play on Youtube… except in written form. Lots of words and photos, detailing every action taken and every card drawn. You can basically follow along how i am playing and i am writing those articles while playing, meaning you get the same sort of unfiltered running commentary that you’d get from a video. These are fairly time intensive and draining to do, so i don’t do them often… but i do return to this format every now and then.

Ages Unwound

Ages Unwound is a custom campaign, well known within the community for a relatively steep difficulty and fancy mechanics. I use this campaign to challenge myself and also benchmark the new card pool as i use decks build solely from the chapter 2 evergreen card pool of Core Set + Investigator decks.

Spreading Flames

Here I play Spreading Flames, scenario 1 of Brethren of Ash, for the first time. I use decks constructed only from Chapter 2 cards as they were released at the time: Core + Investigator Decks.

Drowned City

A full campaign playthrough of my first time with the Drowned City, spanning a total of 11 articles. This is using decks built from just the Chapter 1 Core Set and Drowned City and was intended to find out whether decks built from such a small pool were viable to tackle the (then) new expansion.
