  1. It would be so cool, if they gave you “the new Ancient Evils” to reveal. But I guess, from what i understood, it will likely be Seeker related player cards stuff?

  2. Do you have any idea how this will affect Current format? WIll this new core set replace the other core (so we’ll have TSK, FoHV and DC along with it) or will it boot TSK out of the format?

    1. This is the new Core Set for Current, replacing the old Core.
The idea is resetting the base line for the card pool, so that the designers don’t need to keep designing around the same cards forever, while also removing some cards from the environment that have been a bit too oppressive.

  3. Hello, I don’t know if you are going to submitted but some “spoilers” were revealed by stores, when they published the back of core box, in which came the front of Daniela, their signature card, and a Guardian version of the Sharp Rethoric
Also I have a theory, do you remember the last FFG live about AHLCG? They played with Lili Chen but the art was different, maybe Lily Chen is the Mistic for Core Chapter 2… just a theory

    1. There is a significant portion of people that come to my site that don’t want leaks and just follow along the official schedule which is why i am going to stick to the official reveals in these roundups. That and it’d be a bit disrespectful by me to distribute leaks right after posting the preview cards that i myself have been given by FFG.

Anyone who is following leaks doesn’t need my coverage anyways, i assume that if you know about Dani’s signature, you are plugged in enough that you’ll know about Fingerprint Kit ;)

We’ll get to everything eventually, i think following the planned pacing is going to be the way to go for these as far as discussion on my site is concerned.

  4. Thank you again for posting all these. While I like, to check out the reveal on their respective site as well, ArkhamMemes (or maybe Instagram nowadays in general?) are gate-keeping the content for registered users only. I assume, the flavour text on the Lab Assistant is the meme, so we actually won’t see that in print?

One thing, they could have fixed to clear up wording with the new version as well, since they did so with the Investigate (int), Fight (com), etc., would have been to replace “Revelation” with something like “When drawn”. New players will still think, that “Unbridled Knowledge” will trigger all weaknesses revealed. That say, for the players, who know, this seems an excellent card. Not only Cryptic Research with a powerful tutor for the price of 1 XP and 1 action (which seems more than fair price to me), but also an ability to bury your Gold Bug or other weakness at the bottom of your deck. If we get some “discard from top of the deck” tech, might even place them right on top instead.

  5. Now, that the seeker class has been fully revealed, it’s apparent, that they went for the exact same distribution of class cards from the original core set: 6 level 0 assets, 3 level 0 events, 1 level 0 skill, 4 upgrade cards, that can be assets or events. Deduction (and Vicious Blow) make sense as reprints (even though they had been reprinted in the starter decks as well), but boy, do I hope, we don’t get a third set of Opportunist. Nobody (except Wini, and she’ll always have it in her set anyway) needs this card!

  6. It looks like Survivor is changing things up more than Seeker. I can see Timely Intervention as being the replacement for Lucky! It does most of what Lucky! did but without the resource cost and it only provides +1 for a combat or intellect test. It also might be relevant that it is a skill if either Dissonant Voices or a similar event blocker returns in the new core set, as it could still be used.

      1. Ah, thanks. I actually installed Discord a few months ago for a game of “Alice is Missing”, also added the PBG-Channel afterwards. But I must say, I’m kind of lost there. Will try to check it out, in case there’s some interesting discussion about going around there.

  7. So, from “Scene of the Crime”, I take it that a new keyword is not coming for things that do not provoke attacks of opportunity. I really thought this one was coming!

      1. True, but Parley has a narrower focus as it is an action type. I think a keyword like ‘Safe’ would have a clearly conveyed the concept to new players, and shortened the text quite significantly.

  8. “Scene of the Crime” mentioned it in their video: the restriction to unrevealed location on “Out of Sight” is kind of ass. I wholeheartedly agree: Nimble is a much better card than the level 3 version of OoS, NOT taking the XP-cost into consideration. I do understand, that a card which establishes new connection (like Luke’s Gate Box) or jump around the map like “Fang of Tyr’thrha” have the restriction of revealed locations. Otherwise, they could break scenarios like “Before the Black Throne” or ECC. But on cards, that need to track a path, I think these are superfluous and just tend to make the cards bad. Besides: I tkink, that’s not-Carmen-Sandiego on the art? Trish’s new lore also mentions the Coterie. Seems they have new plans for that organisation in Chapter 2.

  9. Hey! First off: thank you for keeping these visual spoiler pages updated — they’re incredibly useful during preview season.

One small UX suggestion for long “Visual Spoiler + Schedule” posts like this: adding a simple table of contents at the top (with anchor/jump links) would make it much faster to jump between sections (e.g., Guardian / Seeker / Rogue / Mystic / Survivor / Neutral / Weakness / Encounter Artwork) with a single click.

How you could implement it (WordPress-friendly):

Give each section heading an HTML anchor / ID (many WordPress blocks support this; often it’s in the block’s “Advanced” settings as “HTML anchor”).

Add a short TOC list at the top that links to those anchors (e.g. #guardian, #seeker, …).

Optional: use a Table of Contents plugin/block that auto-generates it from headings, if you prefer not to maintain links manually.

This also enables deep-linking from elsewhere (URLs with #… fragments jump directly to the section).

Thanks again for all the work you put into the site!

    Best wishes! :-)

  10. Hmm, Valentin now publishes on Arkham.build rather than Arkham.db. Can’t comment there. Anyway: He seems wrong to me, that you can wear a Sparrow Mask over a Mask of Silenus. The latter is still Mask-traited, so would violate the Limit on the former, if you try to get either one as second in play.

  11. The first core encounter cards had been spoiled: Hellhound, Noxious Artw… ähem Smoke and Unspeakable Truths, all from three different sets of 4 or 7 cards, so very likely not core set campaign specific.

Also shown had been two locations, one from a set of 11 cards, that had been confirmed to be from the first scenario. The other one is more interesting: it is from a different set of 7 cards, and has the Miskatonic trait. So very likely they give at least one fixed “Miskatonic Campus” set, that they plan to reuse during different campaigns, similar to the Arkham locations from “Midnight Masks”, they reused several times, but officially introduced as reusable from the get go. The scenario specific location is also Miskatonic traited, so they likely go together, adding up to 18 cards, 2 more than “The Gathering” Pure speculation on my side, but the second scenario might be all over Arkham again, having the “Midnight Masks” location or similar in a separate set as well, while the third at the meat packing facility, which might based on what we have seen of the lore, might become a recurring location as well.

The spoliers are from an official FFG article, written by Justin from PBG: https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2026/2/5/intro-to-arkham/

    1. Hellhound we’ve seen before and it’s definitely the most interesting out of these. Good impactful creature, i like it a lot even without knowing more context. For the others, i would want to see what other cards are around them as that’d make a lot of difference.

      1. Where did we see that (except for the art) before? Not sure on the effect. With only 3 HP it likely won’t trigger it’s forced effect often? Unless, the player wants to trigger it, in legacy for example to cheese an empty Remington discard. Still, I might underestimate that enemy.

          1. Oh, yes. Now, that you mention it, I indeed read that article. (Like pretty much everything on your page.)
